This work consisted in the simulation of operation a prototype large capacity indirect solar dryer intended to dry 501.4 kg fresh cassava pieces per drying cycle. It is designed lower water content from 62% 17% on wet basis under optimal conditions, order improve quality products dried and meet standards international market. The modeling physical phenomena at level was done follow evolution various parameters influencing drying. These were translated by system equations simulate dryer.
